Certified Cycle Coach Facilitator

28/09/2025

Yay! I am so excited to share that I am now officially a Certified Cycle Coach Facilitator.

It has been such a beautiful journey – six months of intensive learning, followed by a year of integration and practice. And the journey continues! I am excited to see the next steps unfolding. A key learning in this training has been to trust the timings and tides of the continuous cycles of life, and in that lies a powerful invitation of surrender.

You may be curious – what does a Cycle Coach do exactly?

A Cycle Coach works at the intersection of coaching and menstrual cycle awareness. They support women and all people with periods in reclaiming their power, finding vitality, and experiencing a sense of belonging in the female body. They teach clients how to chart their menstrual cycle and map unique strengths and vulnerabilities in each hormonal phase, guiding them to tune into their Menstruality. Clients learn to embrace their natural flow, discover the power of their period, and may even come to celebrate it.

A Cycle Coach’s work extends beyond the menstrual cycle, honoring the many cycles of life—seasonal, lunar, creative, and more. Clients are guided to integrate cyclic wisdom into daily life, goal-setting, and personal evolution.

Cycle Coaches design services, products, and experiences that elevate menstrual cycle awareness. From sacred circles to corporate workshops to intimate one-to-one sessions, they create meaningful change in their communities. It is impactful, beautiful, and important work, and those drawn to it often feel a clear sense of calling.”

I did my training at Cycle Coach School, where the excerpt above is taken from. The training was transformative in so many ways, and the teachings and wisdom shared continues to ripple throughout my life – which I am so very grateful for and humbled by. I am so very happy I followed by inner nudge to take on this adventure – it proved to align in all the right ways.

In my practice so far, I have guided clients on their menstrual cycle awareness journey in addition to spreading awareness through talks and presentations for different organizations.

My key intention with everything I do in this work is to support women and people who bleed to get in to closer contact with their bodies and natural cycles. It is such an awe inspiring space to hold and to witness.

I hope you are well – whenever and wherever you are reading this. Thank you for being here.

Podcastepisode med Silje Vassøy

04/05/2025

//

Earlier this week, I was a guest on Silje Vassøy’s podcast! Surrounded by birdsong, buzzing bees, and sunlight warming our faces, we sat in her garden and dedicated this episode to the menstrual cycle.

We spoke about our relationship with our bodies, our cyclical stories, the transition from girl to woman, different menstrual products, navigating emotions, and so much more. It ended up being a personal and honest conversation – you can listen to the episode here (in Norwegian).

//

I hope spring is treating you well – I have been absent (again) from the blog for a while due to other projects and (ad)ventures. I will be back (hopefully shortly) to continue the series on menstrual cycle awareness.

Sending you love!

The female reproductive system (including a mini meditation to locate your uterus and ovaries)

17/11/2024

Hi you,

Today I am sharing a new video with you – exploring the female reproductive system.

In the video I talk about how important it is to know your female anatomy as a part of your whole being. I go in to talking about the vulva (which is often confused with the vagina), the clitoris (and how it is a bigger structure than the outside pearl that many of us know as the clitoris). I also show you how you can locate your uterus and ovaries, including a mini meditation. There is also lots more to discover and learn here – I hope you enjoy it.

Here are some of the topics covered:

– Exploring the vulva – what is the vulva?

– A practice you can do at home to better get to know your vulva

– Exploring the clitoris and the female erectile tissue

– Exploring the internal reproductive system (the vaginal canal, cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, etc)

– 3D animation of the uterus

– How you can locate your uterus and ovaries (including a mini meditation)

Sources and inspiration:

– Le clitoris – Animated Documentary (2016) by Lori Malépart-Traversy

– Understanding the Uterus, Bladder, and Ovaries by @SciePro

– Labia library. Please type these two words in Google manually and check with the url in the presentation that it is the same one. I am not able to link it due to guidelines of posting.

The male vs female hormonal cycle

09/09/2024

As I feel the transitioning from summer to autumn in the air, I also feel the changes of seasons on this blog as the language now has shifted to English. There will also be more videos coming on here; the first one today exploring the difference between the male and the female hormonal cycle. Let me know if this field is something that interests you – I will share more of what I am learning in my Menstrual Cycle Awareness training as we go (I am excited!)

This video covers the following topics:

– How women and men have different hormonal rhythms

– The consequence of suppression of the female hormonal cycle (menstrual cycle)

– How the female body changes its rhythm through life (from menarche to menopause)

– The main characters (hormones) in the male and female hormonal cycle

– How men follow a daily (circadian) rhythm and women follow a monthly (infradian) rhythm

– How the luminaries (sun and moon) coincide with the male and female hormonal cycle

– Why menstruation is not an isolated event

I hope you like it!
